In Marshall Lords, just about everything has a history associated with it. Commanders, locations, races and forces all have accompanying text that tells you more about them. These histories not only give background flavour to the scenario, but may also contains clues as to the lay of the land and nearby threats or allies. Although there is no direct indication of the strength of commanders and locations, some information may be gleaned from the history text.
